Reputation Points are mostly about fun, they’re here to encourage members to interact with each other as we build a community. Of course, there are some reasons why it’s a good thing to work on increasing your reputation.
Reputation Points build your credibility, you\'re more likely to trust someone who has a good number of Reputation Points over someone who doesn\'t, as reputation points are earned through effort and contribution. As you grow your points, you move up in rank.
Reputation Points also earn you a rank, the person with the most reputation points ranks in position 1, in other words, the leader of the pack! There are currently six ranks available to members.
Reputation Points can also win you awards and prizes, and this is one of the biggest reasons to engage with the Serperture community. Members who contribute to the blog and engage with others can win free accounts, exclusive rewards, from cosmetic badges to custom titles, and even credits inside the serp[app]ture system!
Simply leaving a comment on a blog post will earn you a point.
Receiving a thumbs up, on either a comment of yours or a published article from another will earn you a point, although this is completely accumulative, receive a thousand thumbs up on an extremely awesome comment, and you\'ll jump through ranks.
Submitting an Article to the Serperture Blog and getting it published earns you 10 points.
Having a completed and finished profile earns you a very easy 10 points.
